MOSCOW, Jul 17 (PRIME) -- The Babayev-Mikhailov family, the major shareholder of Russian meat producer Cherkizovo Group, does not plan to sell the company, CEO Sergei Mikhailov said in an interview with business daily Vedomosti released on Tuesday.
“We are definitely not selling Cherkizovo Group. At least, there is no such task now,” he said.
The group is currently considering various development strategies, which depend on the political and macroeconomic situation in the country as well, he added.
“If we have a possibility, we are ready to return to the market and significantly raise the volume of shares in free float, in order to become a full-fledged public company again. But this is one of the scenarios,” Mikhailov said.
